Our Story

Rooted in Heritage,
Growing Together

Basildon Tamil School was founded in 2018 by four friends who shared a common concern: that their children, growing up away from their roots, might lose touch with the Tamil language, culture and heritage.

What began as a simple wish to help their own children learn Tamil soon grew into a wider community initiative. Today, we are a thriving complementary school dedicated to teaching Tamil language, culture and identity to young children in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Our mission is to help the next generation connect with their heritage, take pride in who they are, and carry forward the richness of Tamil language and traditions.
